The 2017 Goal Planner

With December here it’s difficult to think about anything else other than Christmas. Parties, shopping and activities keep us constantly busy during every spare minute of the day. while its never a crime to live your life but keeping the new year in mind is very important.

Begin setting goals and planning for 2017 as soon as possible.

Betting an early start is important to me and I have already began planning my 2017. I want to share my goals with you both to give you an idea of how serious I am and ensuring I’m held accountable for these goals. Here’s where my goals were planned….in the airport lounge.

2017 Goals

1. 5k subscribers by Feb 27th. Majority of these subscribers will come by way of solo ads. Some leads do trickle in from Youtube, this blog and social media but the bulk of my subscribers come from paid traffic. This will be a mix of Human Eyeballs, Igor Solo Ads and other top-tier providers.

1. Earning $15k per month by April 30th. This income will come from my email subscribers and high-ticket back end systems like digital Altitude and various affiliate products and tools. This is a drastic rise in my online income so for me, this is a very bold statement.

2. Help 5 people make $10k per month online. In order to get something from the world you need to give back. My strategy is to learn, do then teach these 5 skills to anyone interested.

3. Attend at least 2 live marketing events. So far the Ascend event is coming up in March of 2017 and I’m planning to be there. the 2nd event is still an unknown. Perhaps this will just be another Digital Altitude event or possibly a Global Affiliate Zone event. ( I will talk about this later)

4. Joining a Mastermind with other Internet Entrepreneurs that have similar goals as myself.

5. Master one paid traffic source. Currently I use solo ads almost exclusively and i want to see how far I can take this. Solo ads are very simple provided you have money but the leads tend to be cold and conversions are very low. Bing PPC is still a mystery I cannot figure out. My results with Bing PPC are non existent at this time and I will change that.

Facebook advertising is becoming so popular which both interests me and turns me off. My strategy will involve paid promotions to my fan page. No sales talk, just getting eyeballs to my fan page and then track visitor behavior.

These are my focus gaols which should not change much or at all over the course of 2017. These are quite lofty goals but there is no question whether or not I can achieve them.

If you are reading this please reach out and ask how I’m making out with these goals.

Is Digital Altitude a Pyramid Scheme?

What You Need to Know About Digital Altitude

Screen-Shot-2015-04-27-at-12.48.45-PM If you spend any time in the Internet Marketing scene then you probably came across a Digital Altitude Promotion.

So what’s my opinion?  Well, after joining and becoming a Rise climber I can tell you exactly what I think.

At first I was skeptical….this just looked like another MLM that would take off then fade away with out new membership.

Since Digital Altitude allows you to “Test Drive” their system for $1 I decided to see what the fuss was all about.

Shortly after, I was pleasantly surprised.  There was 6 steps of training that explained how Digital Altitude worked and why is was sustainable.

Unlike most MLM programs,  Aspire sold actual training, seminars and complete all-inclusive retreats.  in order to grow your business they go through every aspect of setup, branding, marketing, product sales and long-term wealth accumulation.

This was playing out like a University Education for online entrepreneurs.

In short, this was something I was comfortable telling my mother about.  This leads to my next point about promoting Digital Altitude (or Aspire).   There is no way I’m pushing my online business ventures to my family and friends.

It’s not that I’m not proud of this system…’s that most people do not understand or believe you can make a living online.    If they ask me about it, I will explain it.

How Do You Make Money from Digital Altitude

It’s simple.  Aspire has done an amazing job of building an entire system for you so your only task is to get leads.  Once you get the leads, every aspect of the sales process will be handled by the Digital Altitude team.

This includes follow up emails, phone calls, text messages and working directly with the Digital Altitude sales team.

Yes, that’s right……they have a full-time phone sales team that will follow up with your leads and close sales.  THIS IS WHY THIS SYSTEM WORKS.

You will receive a recurring commission and a one-time commission for each package you sell.  Like any good system, you also make money from any sales your down line makes, three levels deep.

footer_bg_smThey also have something called a sponsor lock.  Let me try to explain

this.  Let’s say I obtain the entry level called “Aspire”.  If someone joins my team I will only receive commissions up to the Aspire level.  If they upgrade to Base it will be passed to my upline.

Even if I were to upgrade to Base after they joined, it would not make a difference.

This make for strong motivation to upgrade immediately in order to lock in the best commissions.

What I like about Digital Altitude

  • Awesome marketing tools. They provide banners links to various pages and the ability to integrate with Getresponse and Aweber.
  • access to real coaches for no additional charge.
  • Private Facebook groups
  • High energy memebers with unbeleiveable motivation
  • plenty of products to sell
  • continual improvements to backoffice and training

What I Don’t Like about Digital Altitude

  • coaches calendars fill up fast.  Book them as quickly as possible
  • products can get pricey
  • sales video provided converts poorly.  I use my own for much better conversions

All in all, this is a great system I use to complement my affiliate and email marketing income.  Multiple streams of income are needed to safely survive online.

Do You Even Need a Blog Anymore?

bad-websiteWow, its been a while but I’m still here.  The reason for my absence is simple. Is there any point to having a blog any longer?

With Facebook, Twitter (all of which I hate) is there a need to post anything to a blog.  Google now blasts any IM blog off their listings and SEO is a thing of the past.  Everything is about paid advertising.  I’m ok with this as SEO cost way more i  terms of time then anyone can imagine.

I’m seriously considering going back in time and having everything published via my email list.  My site will soon turn into a squeeze page explaining my strategy.

If someone is interested in what I have tk say, they can join my list.  My posts will be emails and I can branch off into segmented lists if someone finds interest in a product I mention.

Plus,  I can email everyone a series that makes sense and follows a sequence.  So many times I’ve landed on a site and felt lost, not knowing what I should read next.  Sounds dumb but its true……

Like I’ve said many times, Internet Marketing has changed and will continue too but the foundation is still email and products.  Dont’ worry about Facebook, niche sites, Kindle books, etc going away.  Something new will come aling and take its place.  Build a list of followers and you will be fine.

Do One Thing Everyday to Make Money

coupleonbeachWhat can you do to make some extra money online?  Well, I always tell myself that I need to give myself at least one new opportunity each day to make money.

What does this mean?

No matter how busy I am. I need do something online that gives me an opportunity to make money.

Before I took this vow I would go days and sometimes even weeks without producing anything that gave me an opportunity to make money.

If I were to ask you how your online business is going?  What would your answer be?

When I was asked this question a couple years ago I did not have a straight answer.  I was then asked what I have for sale?  I had no answer for that question as well.

After this “coming to Jesus” moment I then realized that I need to create a blog post, video, social media post or something everyday.

Not only does this make me feel better but it has also increased my odds of getting a sale.  After a few months these can really add up.  When I log into my various affiliate dashboards I see clicks everyday.

Here are some of the most common things I do to accomplish this goal

1.  Blog Post

Typically everyone of my blog posts has a subscription form for my email list which leads to sales.  It can also be a product review or how-to post that contains an affiliate link.

2.  Video

These are typically product reviews in the form of a screencast.  In the description of the video I usually add an affiliate link or link to my blog.

3.  Social Media Post

Usually Tweets. Typically containing a link to a video, affiliate product or my site.  If I;m having a busy day, this is the easiest way to accomplish my daily goal.

4.  Comment

This can range from commenting on blog posts, YouTube videos or replying to a tweet.  This is a surprisingly easy way get free traffic.

Take action and you will see results over time.
