Email Marketing Tips from 7 Figure Earner Ankur Argwal

7 Reasons Why Email Marketing is Top Passive Income Business

While I was attending Digital Altitude’s Marketing Mastery Event in Las Vegas last weekend, I was struck by Ankur Argwal’s presentation.

Out of all the speakers, I found this one to be the most interesting and the business model I would most like to copy.

If you did not get a chance to attend this event you can find the recordings and presentation in your Digital Altitude account.  If you are not a member, the $1 trial will get you access to 2 days of recordings.

Who is Ankur Argwal?

captureHe started out as a Software Engineer in New Delhi and after several years was not satisfied with his earning potential.  He then top up network marketing and began his future with Internet Marketing.

After reading Magnetic Sponsoring, Ankur had a major breakthrough and decided on a journey to build the largest email list he possibly could.

Eight years and 8 million dollars later, Ankur has one of the largest biz op email lists and continues to become a leader in any program he chooses to join.

During his presentation he shared his current email list which contained over 440,000 subscribers.  Everyday, Ankur brings in 1000-3000 new subscribers which automatically run through his 60 + day autoresponder sequence.

Does Email Marketing Still Work?

Over the course of 8 years many social networking platforms have come and gone but email is still around and possibly more important than ever.  In the work place email is still where business gets done.

According to Ankur, he spends 15 minutes every morning typing an email to his list then is work is done for the day.  Later that day he checks his stats and will have $500-$2000 of new sales.  CRAZY!

This allows him to work anywhere, travel the world and do what he truly wants to do.  Let’s get to the top 7 reasons i promised you.

Reason #1

If you have a large mailing list you control the traffic.  You can generate clicks on demand anytime an email is sent.  Feed the list and let it product traffic…

Reason #2

Mass leverage. You can communicate directly to hundreds of thousands of people instantly through email.  You are one click away from their purchasing power.

Reason #3

You can generate money on demand.  It really is like having an ATM in your living room.  Depending on the size of your list, a single email can generate hundreds or even thousands of $$.

Reason #4

Living the laptop lifestyle anywhere in the world is reality. As long as you have access to your autoresponder you can generate an income.

Reason #5

With an email list you can give yourself a raise every month.  The larger the list and the more you email them (within reason of course) the more income you can earn.  Take at least 33% of your earnings and use that to build an even larger list.

Reason #6

The money is in the follow up.  Sure, you can make money on the front end but you now have that subscriber for life (or as long as they stay subscribed).  An average it takes 7 follow ups for someone to make a purchasing decision.

Reason #7

Once they know, like and trust you the barriers have been removed and the money will come pouring in.  This is warm traffic that already knows who you are.  Marketing with Facebook or YouTube ads takes more time and money to make sales.

This presentation gave me new inspiration to build my list as fast as possible.  I already have several Solo Ads and click packages purchased and ready to go.  Once this have been delivered I will share my results on a new post.

Dropcard Marketing | Create Your Own $100 Dropcards With This Template

Do It Yourself $100 Bill Drop Card Template

I can’t believe I have never come across this method of marketing.  It’s extremely cheap and very effective from what I’ve been told.

Yes, I’m referring to dropcard marketing.  You basically create these small cards that look exactly like $100 bills folded in half.  One side looks like the 100 dollar bill and the other has a marketing message along with a website.

I was introduced to this in the most recent “On The Rise” Marketing call featuring Manny Hernandez.  You can listen to a recording of this call on Soundcloud.

Example 100 Dollar Dropcard

Make sure your message is short and to the point.  Leave them curious and wanting to know more.  Make sure the url you leave is short and easy to remember.  I would recommend registering a few domain names so you can track where you left specific cards with specific domain names.  There are many registrars to choose from but I recommend using Name Cheap.  They have terrific prices and an very simple and easy to use interface.

Watch the video I created on how to register a domain name and redirect it to your offer.  In this example is was being redirected to my Digital Altitude Links.

As I mentioned, keep your domain names short and catchy.  Some examples:

Always try to register the .com if you can.  Some alternatives, .ca, .net and .org.

Placing your dropcards is an art within itself.  There are endless places that could result in quality leads.  Think of places where people go to find out how to invest, start businesses or dream.  Here are some places I’m planning to leave my dropcards.

Book store – inside books
University or Colleges
Lottery ticket booths
Investing Trade shows
Restaurant Bill holders
Public Transit stops
Mall Food Courts
Public Libraries
Vehicle Dealership Lounges
Coffee Shops
Gas Pumps

How to Bring in 50 Leads a Day With Facebook Advertising

Getting Leads with Paid Traffic

The number one reason online businesses fail is due to lack of traffic and leads.  Over the years paid traffic has helped businesses succeed in record time.

While paid traffic can be lucrative, it still does require tweaking or you may find yourself spending lots of money with very little to show.

In the most recent On The Rise Call, superstar marketing Alfredo Delgado “opens the kimono” on his Facebook Ads campaigns.

What surprised me is how simple yet effective his strategy is. Let me quickly layout the steps Alfredo uses to get 50 $1 sign ups per day.

This alone makes him $25 a day…..not including the future commissions.

Step 1.   Create a short video with a call to action linking to a lead capture page.  This does not need to be anything professional.  These were shot from Alfredo’s phone.

Step 2.  Your lead capture page should be clean and simple.  Do not make any guarantees and ensure you have a privacy policy, terms and conditions disclaimer.

Step 3.  After they optin to your lead capture page, send them to a bridge page thanking them for the optin.  Shoot a short video introducing yourself and guide them to the next page where they watch the video (or what ever you promised them in return for opting in).  Place a link to a social media site you are active on.  Could be Facebook, Youtube, Instagram….anything.

Step 4. show them the video and make sure there is a link for your offer.  In this case it will point to the Digital Altitude $1 trial.

That’s it.  Isn’t this crazy!!  I need to be doing this and I’m going to.  Step one for me is to get another Facebook Ads account setup.

Finally, here are Alfedo’s rules you need to follow in order to prevent your Facebook Ads account from not being banned.

Is Digital Altitude a Pyramid Scheme?

What You Need to Know About Digital Altitude

Screen-Shot-2015-04-27-at-12.48.45-PM If you spend any time in the Internet Marketing scene then you probably came across a Digital Altitude Promotion.

So what’s my opinion?  Well, after joining and becoming a Rise climber I can tell you exactly what I think.

At first I was skeptical….this just looked like another MLM that would take off then fade away with out new membership.

Since Digital Altitude allows you to “Test Drive” their system for $1 I decided to see what the fuss was all about.

Shortly after, I was pleasantly surprised.  There was 6 steps of training that explained how Digital Altitude worked and why is was sustainable.

Unlike most MLM programs,  Aspire sold actual training, seminars and complete all-inclusive retreats.  in order to grow your business they go through every aspect of setup, branding, marketing, product sales and long-term wealth accumulation.

This was playing out like a University Education for online entrepreneurs.

In short, this was something I was comfortable telling my mother about.  This leads to my next point about promoting Digital Altitude (or Aspire).   There is no way I’m pushing my online business ventures to my family and friends.

It’s not that I’m not proud of this system…’s that most people do not understand or believe you can make a living online.    If they ask me about it, I will explain it.

How Do You Make Money from Digital Altitude

It’s simple.  Aspire has done an amazing job of building an entire system for you so your only task is to get leads.  Once you get the leads, every aspect of the sales process will be handled by the Digital Altitude team.

This includes follow up emails, phone calls, text messages and working directly with the Digital Altitude sales team.

Yes, that’s right……they have a full-time phone sales team that will follow up with your leads and close sales.  THIS IS WHY THIS SYSTEM WORKS.

You will receive a recurring commission and a one-time commission for each package you sell.  Like any good system, you also make money from any sales your down line makes, three levels deep.

footer_bg_smThey also have something called a sponsor lock.  Let me try to explain

this.  Let’s say I obtain the entry level called “Aspire”.  If someone joins my team I will only receive commissions up to the Aspire level.  If they upgrade to Base it will be passed to my upline.

Even if I were to upgrade to Base after they joined, it would not make a difference.

This make for strong motivation to upgrade immediately in order to lock in the best commissions.

What I like about Digital Altitude

  • Awesome marketing tools. They provide banners links to various pages and the ability to integrate with Getresponse and Aweber.
  • access to real coaches for no additional charge.
  • Private Facebook groups
  • High energy memebers with unbeleiveable motivation
  • plenty of products to sell
  • continual improvements to backoffice and training

What I Don’t Like about Digital Altitude

  • coaches calendars fill up fast.  Book them as quickly as possible
  • products can get pricey
  • sales video provided converts poorly.  I use my own for much better conversions

All in all, this is a great system I use to complement my affiliate and email marketing income.  Multiple streams of income are needed to safely survive online.

Do You Even Need a Blog Anymore?

bad-websiteWow, its been a while but I’m still here.  The reason for my absence is simple. Is there any point to having a blog any longer?

With Facebook, Twitter (all of which I hate) is there a need to post anything to a blog.  Google now blasts any IM blog off their listings and SEO is a thing of the past.  Everything is about paid advertising.  I’m ok with this as SEO cost way more i  terms of time then anyone can imagine.

I’m seriously considering going back in time and having everything published via my email list.  My site will soon turn into a squeeze page explaining my strategy.

If someone is interested in what I have tk say, they can join my list.  My posts will be emails and I can branch off into segmented lists if someone finds interest in a product I mention.

Plus,  I can email everyone a series that makes sense and follows a sequence.  So many times I’ve landed on a site and felt lost, not knowing what I should read next.  Sounds dumb but its true……

Like I’ve said many times, Internet Marketing has changed and will continue too but the foundation is still email and products.  Dont’ worry about Facebook, niche sites, Kindle books, etc going away.  Something new will come aling and take its place.  Build a list of followers and you will be fine.
